WEEKLY SCRIPTURE
Proverbs 27:1 Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.
Matthew 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
James 4:13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
James 4:14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
James 4:15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
This week we take at look at today because tomorrow isn’t promised. We as mankind feel entitled to the luxuries of life. Waking up, talking, walking, being able to see etc. Then with material things such as cars, clothes, houses and more. But not only do we feel entitled to always have them we don’t ever think of a life without them. What if tomorrow doesn’t come? What if you wake up and lose one of your five senses forever? What if u was rich and worked your whole life to be rich but never dedicated any of your life to The Most High. And you pass away that night. Would you be saved? Do you think you fulfilled your life serving TMH? Would God be pleased at your tenure in life? I think we don’t think about those things because we always believe we will see another day. So since we not promised tomorrow ask yourself these questions everyday.
Did you serve TMH today?
If you died tonight would you be content or satisfied with the works you did today?
Do you think you maxed out your day and gave it your all?
Do you delay righteousness with sin and delay your journey to seek God until tomorrow?
Take the time this week to evaluate how you spent each day and was it truly to your best ability.
SHALAWAM FAMILY STAY BLESSED AND NO STRESSED!!!!!!
WEEKLY SCRIPTURES ARE POSTED EVERY SATURDAY AFTER SUNDOWN.
